The holiday season is officially underway at Jones Beach, with the return of the beloved Magic of Lights drive-through display. This dazzling attraction, which features over 2 1/2 miles of sparkling lights, is set to delight both children and adults alike.

Despite the rainy weather, the festive spirit was alive and well on opening night, as families and visitors flocked to the iconic Long Island beach for an unforgettable holiday experience.

Beyond the dazzling light displays, guests are encouraged to visit the Holiday Village, where they can warm up with hot cocoa, snap a picture with Santa, and even pet some friendly dogs. For those with a sweet tooth, the village also offers the chance to toast marshmallows and make your own s’mores around a cozy fire pit.

"I feel like Christmas is coming so fast. Got to get in the spirit, and this is putting everyone in the mood," says Elsa Masood, of East Northport.

The Magic of Lights at Jones Beach is open nightly through Jan. 4. Tickets are available for purchase in advance at $30 on weekdays and $35 on weekends.
