A $15,000 donation was given to Island Harvest Food Bank in order to help feed struggling Long Island residents.
The donation came from Arrow Exterminating Company. The co-owner and general manager of the Lynbrook business are both coronavirus survivors.
Island Harvest says the financial support will help stock up its pantries as it has seen surge in demand since the pandemic.
"We've been community oriented and we've been trying to think of a way that we could possibly help, and it sees like people need to eat more than anything else," says Jackie Grabin, Arrow Exterminating's co-president.
