Long Island Ice Cream Tour returns for 9th year
On July 13, the tour will visit nine ice cream parlors from Rockville Centre to Riverhead, all places known for their homemade ice cream.

July is National Ice Cream Month and the Long Island Ice Cream Tour is back for a ninth year.
On July 13, the tour will visit nine ice cream parlors from Rockville Centre to Riverhead, all places known for their homemade ice cream.
Organizer Jeff Noreman, of Old Bethpage, came up with the idea after visiting the nine Long Island locations in one day.
This year the tour starts at 9 a.m., and participants take their own cars.
