Three Long Islanders walked from the North Shore to the South Shore Sunday to raise money for front line workers.
Cameron and Tyler Augi, of Plainview, and their cousin Bryce Small, of Roslyn, walked 26.2 miles - the length of a marathon. They started at 5:30 in the morning in Syosset and ended 9.5 hours later at Jones Beach.
So far, the trio says they have raised more than $1,200 to feed front line workers.
"It feels amazing to help out, but it's nothing compared to what they're doing every single day. We just did it for one day. Just hats off to them, it's really amazing what they do," says Tyler Augi.
The group is partnering with Family Bagels of Plainview and will deliver food to front line workers.
