Temperatures across Long Island are remaining frigid Sunday,  but there will be some warmer highs in the forecast soon.
After two weeks of freezing temperatures, Long Island residents tell News 12 they are limiting their time outside and are trying different way to warm up quickly in the bitter cold.
"Turn the heat up. Heated seats, feet warmers, that’s it. Bundle up," says Josh Goodelman, of Woodbury.
For those who do plan to go outside today, officials say to limit time in the elements and to make sure to wear a hat, scarf, gloves and plenty of layers.

News 12 meteorologists say Monday will see temperatures climb above freezing, to 34 degrees. Temperatures later in the week will reach the 40s.
