The United States is watching and waiting for the results in the presidential election.
Long Islanders are sounding off about the race.
Some Long Islanders told News 12 they are hoping for results by end of day, but they wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t until next week.
"I come from a sporting background so I'm following it almost like a big game," says Brian Donahue, of Westbury. "It's interesting the way chips are falling, how things are going and of course we will have lawsuits and accusations and everything else going."
