While a winter storm may be approaching some Long Island residents say instead of stocking up on supplies they are rushing out to get the perfect Valentine's gift.
The Home Depot in Central Islip was ready for an influx of shoppers, but so far store representatives say it's been quiet. One resident said he's hurrying to get roses for his special Valentine. He says since there's been no snow his shovel is brand new and ready to go. One suggested gift that would come in handy for the storm is hand warmers.
Long Island is currently under a winter weather advisory.
