Dozens of Long Islanders came together Thursday to remember Kristallnacht, also known as the Night of Broken Glass.
It marks the day in 1938 when Nazis unleashed a wave of violence and destruction against Jewish people in Germany.
The remembrance ceremony took place at the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County in Glen Cove.
