The Advance pesticide Diflubenzuron is encapsulated in a plastic housing that attracts the termites. According to Jim its a much smaller amount and a safer pesticide than is being used by most companies. 

However Arrow and Suburban Pest Control advertise that they have a 'green treatment' option available.

Diflubenzuron is a restricted use pesticide used on some crops despite the fact that the EPA says its a possible human carcinogen.

Meanwhile, Adrienne Esposito of the Citizens Campaign for the Environment says the bait and trap system is the best option we currently have to protect our homes and the environment.
