The Long Island Music Hall of Fame is looking for a new home.

Newsday reports that the music hall had planned to move into a former bank building in Port Jefferson. Now, officials at the Long Island Music Hall of Fame say the bank would have been too pricey to renovate.

It is considering an undisclosed site and may even move into a traveling museum.

The Long Island Music Hall of Fame has honored local musicians like Lovin' Spoonful, the Good Rats and Taylor Dayne.
