A local golf pro played a round from sunrise to sunset Monday for the third straight year to help raise money for cancer research.
LPGA’s Kacie Mulligan hit the links at Southward Ho Country Club in Bay Shore to raise funds for the American Cancer Society.
"My father is a stage 4 metastatic cancer patient, he's currently at Sloan Kettering,” said Mulligan. “He just had stomach surgery on Thursday. He's doing great, he is a trooper."
Last year, Mulligan golfed 180 holes and raised $73,000 for cancer research.
