The 2023 Games for the Physical Challenged are starting in less than two months.
Local leaders announced the game's schedule Tuesday at the Viscardi Center in Searington.
Some athletes at the school are getting ready for the games.
Head of the Henry Viscardi School Angelo Zegarelli says the games will teach students about being competitive, being part of a team, how to deal with defeat or how to be a gracious winner.
Over 1,000 athletes across New York will be competing at Mitchel Field Athletic Complex for the competition.
The games will be held on June 2 and 3 with events from wheelchair basketball, archery, swimming and more.
