A jury has convicted Litchfield attorney Robert Fisher of manslaughter for fatally shooting Matthew Bromley outside his law office in June 2021.

Prosecutors say Fisher shot Bromley in the head at close range after Bromley approached him, reached into Fisher's car, and punched him several times as he arrived at work.

Prosecutors said Fisher pulled a gun and fired as Bromley turned to walk away.

Sentencing is scheduled for June.
