A man working for the Long Island Rail Road has returned more than $100,000 worth of engagement rings forgotten on the train.
Assistant conductor Jonathan Yellowday was working on the 611 from Penn Station to Port Washington when he found jewelry in a plastic bag.
Passanger Ed Eleasian, a Midtown jeweler, had forgotten them on his way home.
Yellowday alerted MTA police and got the 36 rings back to Eleasian.
