The Long Island Rail Road will have major service disruptions on its main line over the weekend while crews complete another phase in the Ellison Avenue bridge project in Westbury.
The LIRR will not be running trains between Hicksville and Mineola on Saturday and Sunday.
The work will affect the Port Jefferson and Ronkonkoma branch the most with riders looking at up to an hour delay. The railroad is urging riders to use other branches.
Bus service will be available between the affected areas.
LIRR officials say regular service will be back in place by the Monday morning commute.
