The Long Island Rail Road is cutting main-line service between Mineola and Hicksville this weekend due to work on an infamous bridge in Westbury.
The LIRR says it will divert some trains and replace others with buses. Officials urge riders to use the Babylon line instead.
The Post Avenue Bridge will close Saturday morning so the MTA can increase clearance on the busy road below by more than two feet.
As it stands now, the low bridge sometimes blocks truck drivers, causing traffic in the area while they have to back out and find a new route.
The project is expected to take 48 hours. Post Avenue will also be closed between Railroad and Union avenues until 6 a.m. Monday.
The MTA says the work will not impact the Monday morning commute.
