LIRR service restored on Ronkonkoma branch after vehicle was stuck on tracks
Service has been restored on the Long Island Rail Road's Ronkonkoma branch between Farmingdale and Ronkonkoma after a vehicle was stuck on the tracks.
MTA officials say a large truck was on the tracks near the Deer Park station.
Officials say LIRR personnel and a tow truck arrived at the scene, and the suspension was lifted in about an hour.
The LIRR said to expect residual delays of 20-30 minutes in the wake of the suspension.
