Long Island Rail Road riders can expect some disruptions today.  
Service will be suspended between Valley Stream and West Hempstead through 4 p.m. while PSEG Long Island replaces a downed pole along the tracks near Westwood.  
The line came down during Tuesday’s severe weather.  
NICE bus will honor LIRR fares on the N31 and N32 buses.   
Riders can take a bus to and from Lynbrook and transfer for train service.
