Long Island Rail Road service was temporarily halted this morning on the Ronkonkoma branch.
The MTA says an unauthorized vehicle was struck on the tracks east of the Farmingdale Station.
Service is now back to normal after a few hours of delays.
Yesterday, there were morning cancellations and delays on the Port Jefferson branch due to a broken rail east of the Cold Spring Harbor station.
