Long Island Rail Road riders can expect delays and cancellations Wednesday due to service being only partially restored.
Service has resumed on most lines, though on a limited basis with delays expected. The only remaining suspensions are on the Montauk line and on the Port Jefferson line between Huntington and Port Jefferson.
Service was suspended systemwide on Tuesday after damage from Tropical Storm Isaias littered the tracks.
Video obtained by News 12 shows part of a roof blew onto the tracks in New Cassel.
Meanwhile, just east of Jamaica, a utility pole went down on the tracks.
The railroad says crews are working around-the-clock to get full service restored.
