The Long Island Rail Road says out of service escalators will soon be working again.
The escalators were shut down for safety repairs after the death of a woman at the Lindenhurst station in March. The LIRR says escalators at Lindenhurst, Babylon and Rockville Centre will be back in service by the end of the month.
The escalators will also be running again in Baldwin, Amityville, Hicksville and Freeport in September.
Copiague's will be fixed by October.
