A special moment for a Long Island family of firefighters.

A father and his three sons answered their first call together on Friday.

Ex-Chief Christian Pieper of the Syosset Fire Department and his sons are all at different stages in their firefighting journey.

The family has climbed the ladder from cadets, to probationary firefighters, to firefighters, and even chief.

Syosset Fire Department says they are proud to see generations serving side by side!
