After a day of cancellations and delays, the MTA had a near regular commute this morning.
The announcement comes after a train derailed just west of the Elmont UBS Arena station on Thursday, causing headaches for riders.
Officials say crews worked through the night to clear the train out of the way to prepare for this morning’s rush hour.
Chopper 12 was above the scene as the disabled train caused a bottleneck that led to delays across the board.
A total of 11 eastbound evening rush hour trains were canceled, westbound service was extremely limited.
