Third-graders in Lindenhust learned that trash can become treasure.
Students at West Gates Avenue Elementary School teamed up with local artist Leslie Sattler to create a mural with bottle caps.
The mural reflects a message to support the school's motto - Kindness Rocks.
The students say they're happy to see trash on the canvas, instead of the endangering wild animals.
The mural, which is about 3 1/2 feet tall by 8 feet long, will hang in the school's entranceway.
