The search is on for a suspect after a Lindenhurst jewelry store owner was tasered during an attempted hold-up.
Police say a man walked into Imperial Jewelry Diamond Exchange on 35th Street around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
The owner was assaulted and tasered while the suspect tried to rob the establishment, according to authorities.
The suspect ended up leaving empty-handed. The store owner declined medical treatment.
