Lightning strikes shocked several people in Long Beach Thursday afternoon during a fast-moving thunderstorm.
The chief of lifeguards says two beachgoers and three lifeguards were jolted while his crew was trying to clear the beach.
One person was hospitalized, but is expected to be OK.
News 12 forecasters expect to see more thunderstorms Friday.
