The biggest holiday tradition on the East End took place at the Big Duck in Flanders Wednesday night.
A large group of people were on hand to watch the 26th annual lighting of the Big Duck. It will be lit through Jan. 1.
The event was held in cooperation between the Town of Southampton and Suffolk's Parks Department.
Santa also made an appearance and was escorted by the Flanders Fire Department.
The duck has been a town staple since 1931.
