A Long Island organization dedicated to helping others needs some help.

The Lighthouse Mission says they have received requests from families in desperate need for Thanksgiving.

As of now, they say they have 600 turkeys and chickens, but they need to double that number.

The Lighthouse Mission is also in need of canned vegetables, stuffing and deserts, but especially turkeys.
