A Long Island organization is feeding struggling families this Thanksgiving.

Pastor Jim Ryan, of the Lighthouse Mission, says more than 230 people lined up in Coram today for turkeys, which he says is a lot more than usual.

Mid Island Collision in Rockville Centre also bought 300 turkeys that will be donated to the Lighthouse Mission in time for Thanksgiving.

The Lighthouse Mission says it feeds about 3,200 people per week from its mobile units in Suffolk County with food donated by Long Islanders.
