There are long lines at the Tesla dealership in Manhasset today.
Long Islanders are joining people across the country, lining up to put a $1,000 down on a new and all-electric Tesla Model 3.
The Model 3 will have a base price of $35,000 before a $7,500 federal tax credit.
Reservations can be made at the store today or online tonight when the car is unveiled.
