Some Long Islanders headed south Tuesday to help Louisiana deal with some of the worst flooding in state history.
More than 20,000 people have been rescued from their homes after 2 feet of rain fell in parts of the state in just two days.
At least 10 people are dead and over 11,000 people are staying in shelters.
Another major downpour is expected Wednesday.
