LIA Foundation, Optimum team up to support local small businesses

The Long Island Association Foundation and Optimum, the parent company of News 12, announced they will be awarding grants worth $5,000 each to 50 small businesses on Long Island.

Small businesses are getting some much-needed support.


The Long Island Association Foundation and Optimum, the parent company of News 12, announced they will be awarding grants worth $5,000 each to 50 small businesses on Long Island.


This includes 25 in Nassau County and 25 in Suffolk County.


The businesses must be brick-and-mortar locations and have 10 or fewer employees. Applications are open now through April 30.


The selected businesses will be announced in June.
