Bob Policastro created Angela's House in 1992 in honor of his daughter who passed away due to severe medical problems.
The nonprofit aims to help families and children who are medically frail.
Angela's House operates special houses across Long Island that are accessible for the children and their families.
It gives the families a chance to be in a safe enviornment that feels like a home, not a hospital.
Angela's House aims to raise 30,000 this month to mark its 30th anniversary.
