Muslims on Long Island are denouncing terrorism and the Islamic State militants as they live in fear of hatred and backlash following the Paris attacks.
"It's just really sad and scary at the same time," says Sabrina Khan, 19.
An interfaith prayer with Jewish and Christian clergy was hosted by the Islamic Center of Long Island. They denounced ISIS and terrorism.
"These people do not represent us," says Habeeb Ahmad.
Khan says she's just a normal college student who wants to be treated equally and have her religion be respected.
"Look more into our religion because Islam is not about killing people, it's about peace," she says. "Don't be quick to judge."
