A Long Island man was among four people who were killed in a fiery crash in Florida Saturday that also left 25 people injured.
Authorities say Gordon Sheets, of Copiague, was driving a tractor-trailer when a decades-old school bus slammed into him in Florida's Wakulla County.
The driver of the bus had ran a flashing red light, police say. Both vehicles burst into flames upon impact.
Sheets was among those who were pronounced dead.
Another Long Island man, 21-year-old Rafel Nieves, of Sound Beach, was a passenger in the tractor-trailer with Sheets. Nieves was not injured.
Police are investigating whether the driver of the bus possibly fell asleep at the wheel. The bus driver was hospitalized in critical condition.

Editor's note: Authorities in Florida earlier said five people were killed in the crash. They revised the death toll to four on Sunday, and declined to comment on the discrepancy.
