Health officials say someone has died following an e-coli outbreak linked to romaine lettuce.
The death was reported in California, but there are no other details.
The Center for Disease Control tweeted on Wednesday “E-coli outbreak linked to romaine lettuce continues. Do not eat or buy any type of romaine lettuce unless you can confirm it is not from Yuma, Arizona growing region.”
A total of 121 people have gotten sick in 25 states, including in New York.
A total of 14 people have suffered from kidney failure.
