A Manorville man was charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless endangerment after rear-ending a vehicle on Montauk Highway Friday night.

Lester Russel, 31, was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic eastbound on Montauk Highway in Patchogue around 6:40 p.m. when he hit one car and careened into another on the westbound side of the road, investigators say.

Russel and a passenger were hospitalized with minor injuries.

No one suffered serious injuries.
