A prominent Long Island attorney is suing his church and an affiliated school for allegedly distributing anti-Semitic material.
John Ray says he and his family discovered objectionable material at the bookstore at St. Michael's Chapel and Our Lady of Good Success Academy in Farmingville.
One of the books is called "Synagogue Rising."
"The vile statements are such things as 'the Holocaust never occurred, the Holocaust is denied, the gas chambers did not exist...and that Hitler merely ran a work camp,'" Ray says. "These are the kinds of things they are promoting."
Furthermore, Ray says the anti-Semitic teachings extended from the bookstore into the classroom.
The lawsuit also alleges fraud and corruption within the church.
The school did not respond to a News 12 request for comment.
