Gabby Petito’s parents claim Brian Laundrie’s parents and the attorney they hired knew Petito was dead and lied about what they knew.

Petito and Laundrie went on a cross country road trip in the summer of 2021 when she vanished.

New court filings say Laundrie called his parents in a panic, telling them she was “gone” and he needed a lawyer. That happened three weeks before her remains were discovered.

The Laundries are believed to have shared the message with Attorney Stephen Bertolino that same day.

Investigators found Laundrie’s remains a month later, with a note confessing he killed Petito.

The Petitos are now seeking damages for emotional distress.
