The Lawrence man accused of trying to kill his sister with a crossbow has pleaded not guilty to new charges Thursday.
Samy Sedhom is charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon. The 21-year-old is accused of shooting his sister.
Sedhom allegedly told investigators he had been planning to "get rid of her" after the two had been fighting over the temperature in the house.
Sedhom's attorney has previously said he believes his client has an undiagnosed mental health issue.
