Local lawmakers are fighting to keep the jobs of over a dozen air traffic controllers at the Westbury-based Tracon.

The FAA currently plans to reassign 17 air traffic controllers from Tracon to Philadelphia. Lawmakers are demanding the plan be rescinded because the move will impact them and their families while posing staffing and safety risks.
