A Manhasset lawmaker is calling on the MTA to ease headaches for commuters during the summer's Penn Station overhaul.
Sen. Elaine Phillips wants the transit authority to reduce fares, shift Amtrak trains to Grand Central and come up with other ways for commuters to get into the city.
Amtrak aims to upgrade its aging infrastructure this summer.
As a result authorities say some tracks will be shut down for two months.
