According to the National Retail Federation, 149 million people plan to shop in-person the weekend before Christmas.
Jonathan Sanchez from Valley Stream says every year he delays buying holiday presents and instead shops on Christmas Eve.
Sanchez says, "I decided to do everything at the last minute and come here in this chaos. I came out today as early as possible.
