A man from Kings Park pleaded guilty Thursday to robbing two Flagstar Banks in Suffolk County.

Prosecutors say 51-year-old Brian Blackford entered the first bank in West Babylon on Dec. 8, 2025, handed the teller a note and left with $1,400 cash.

He targeted the second bank in Deer Park on Dec. 10, 2025. Upon arrival, he gave the teller a note and pointed to his waist to imply he was armed.

The teller handed him $3,930 before he fled the scene. Police apprehended him in Copiague later that same day.

Officers found him in possession of 2.35 grams of cocaine, $2,700 in stolen cash and a note bearing the message “give me $10,000 cash no funny business.”

In addition to two counts of robbery, he also pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Blackford is due back in court on Oct. 1 and is expected to be sentenced to 5 ½ to 11 years in prison.
