It's the end of an era for another Long Island supermarket.

The King Kullen in Hewlett will be closing its doors for good on Thursday afternoon.

As News 12 has reported, a company spokesperson says the lease expired at the Peninsula Boulevard store and they couldn't reach a favorable new deal.

All employees are being offered positions at other locations.

“King Kullen is honored to have served the Hewlett community for 45 years,” the spokesperson said.

There are still 24 other King Kullens in operation across both Nassau and Suffolk counties.

The store will be officially close at 3 p.m.
