What summer series would be complete without beaches? This week, News 12 Long Island brings us to a different beach to see what each has to offer. First up, Tanner Park in Copiague.

At Tanner Park, there seems to be something for everyone. Town of Babylon Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez says families can spend the day at the beach without ever running out of something to do. Tanner Park features a playground and spray park, which is great for the kids to keep cool when they aren't interested in the water.

Every night there is live music, and after 5 p.m. anyone can enjoy dinner at the outdoor restaurant.

Part of the boardwalk was destroyed by Sandy, but has since been rebuilt for this summer.

The park also features the Band Shell, which will be host to 14 concerts this year. According to Martinez, each concert sees about 10,000 people.

From the water to the tennis courts or boating dock, Tanner Park has something for everyone.
