Police say a teen is in serious condition after his bicycle slammed into a car.
According to police, Joseph Calabrese, 16, crashed into a Volkswagen at the intersection of West Hoffman Avenue and South Wellwood Avenue in Lindenhurst. The incident happened around 4:45 p.m.
Calabrese was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the car and his three passengers were not hurt.
No charges have been filed.
