Nassau police say a shouting match quickly became violent with a machete.
The incident happened over the weekend on Roman Avenue in New Cassel.
Police say 19-year-old Jose Clavel and 17-year-old Jose Hernandez were armed with a baseball bat, machete and knife.
They allegedly waited for two men they had an issue with and attacked them.
One of the victims was stabbed in the back.
Clavel and Hernandez are now in custody and will face a judge today.
