The head of JetBlue took a tour of Long Island?s MacArthur Airport this morning but the company stresses it does not mean it is definitely coming to the area. JetBlue?s chief executive Dave Barger toured the airport alongside Town of Islip officials and Sen. Charles Schumer.
JetBlue is considering MacArthur Airport as a new northeast destination. The tour is part of the airline's evaluation process on whether it should come to the area or not.
Schumer says the airport now boasts a beautiful new terminal, ample parking and is centrally located on Long Island.
