An Islip man has come forward, telling police that he believes a tire involved in a fatal accident came from his trailer.
Joseph Nickel says he was driving a Ford F-350 pickup Thursday and towing a trailer. He later realized he was missing a tire.

David Dorazio was killed when a tire hit his car on Sunrise Highway.
There were no other injuries.
